Car cleaning products

Featured Replies

Firstly apologies if this is a repost. I have checked back a little way and seen bits of advice on certain products but I've just read about a product called Permaseal which states it is a PTFE based product that gives 10 years protection to the paint work on the car. Has anyone got any experience of this product / company or do you use an alternative PTFE product. Advise would be great as I really want to use a good solid product and take pride in the appearance of my new car.

As ever, if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. You'd be much better off getting the surface prepared properly and protecting it with a tried and tested and well regarded product like Zaino or Collinite. You might want to see a detailer to do it for you.

+1

a detailer will do a much, much much better job of cleaning the paintwork and then sealing it than these 'wonder products' will do.

Well worth the £200 you might have to pay.

Or buy the stuff to prepare and seal and spend the weekend doing it yourself.

Clay & Detailing spray

Pollish

Paint Sealant

Wax

There are lots and lots of threads and help guides on this. Look in styling and care.
