petrol mate and after coming from a diesel its gonna take some time to get used but im sure ill enjoy it, unless the fuel turns out to be worse than im thinking it will lol

black with green calipers one of the best ones , just like mine. im sure you will love it !

Well I've got a brand spanking TSI vRS in candy white and I love it! I'm averaging 34 mpg n thats without paying attention to how i drive lol! I'v had it to 43 mpg at a constant 75 on the motorway

thats good economy wise and definitely what i want to hear and hope to see, really looking forward to getting it and hoping ill enjoy it as much as every else seems to. Definitely glad i found this forum aswell as its definately one of the best owners forums ive used with no snobbery or people ignoring newbies like ive seen on other cars specific forums so well done to all for having a proper little community going on...

oh and im liking the green calipers too and im also looking forward to people slagging it off for being a skoda and then taking it back once they have been out in it

Indeed the same as mine too!

You'll love the TFSI, it's like a diesel with 7000 rpm to play with :)

And since he joined in Ben is making mine even better tomorrow :D

should be a bit more entertaining then, having just come from a diesel and having had dual mass flywheel problems and stuff im a bit reluctant to start modding it power wise. To be fair its 70bhp more powerful than my last car was and its about 20ft lbs of torque less so it should be enough to keep me going for a while

Yeah i think its very impressive standard, very smooth and progressive power delivery - I just want more of it :D

i was amazed by the smoothness of the delivery on the test drive to be fair, it just keeps pulling and pulling until you hit the speed limit and obviously stop accelerating lol

Obviously :giggle:

Looks good I would get a warranty though to cover you if the Teeves 60 abs goes faulty . If you get it mapped then they do fly, and the green calipers are the coolest B)

its gonna have a 3 month warranty with it when i buy it

That's all you need, waste of money paying for any extened warranty IMHO, If its gonna go wrong it most likely already has lol

theres fors and againsts for everything like that but the extended warranty they were offering was really expensive so its a job to know.

Black Magic and green calipers B)

Awesome car, with one of the best engines around. I'm sure you'll love it.

Identical in looks to mine - but mine is vRS Diesel and 08 plate :)

im glad you get the variety with the diesel looking the same as the petrol, wheni bought my previous car it really annoyed me the fact that there was hardly any sporting looking diesel cars for reasonable money,

is there any meets around the northamptonshire, east midlands sort of area ?

ive just got a black vrs 57plate diesel, last week, aweeesooome car... :D

whats a teeves sensor???

never heard of one failing anyway

Teeves ABS sensor, specifically the MK60, seem to fail on cars after 4 years or so, expensive job, etc. Its meant to be a lifetime part, but a lot are failing.

Only cars with ESP have the MK60.

Plenty of threads on this already :wonder:
