Tyre Pressure Monitoring

Featured Replies

This system is all well and good for slow punctures, but when you have a screw sealing the tyre and that pops out driving along and the tyre instantly deflates and then beeps its not much good!

£140 later I have a new tyre (sport contact 3 as the 2's have been discontinued)

Then to top it all off a small rock came off the back of a lorry on the motorway and but a massive chip on the bonnet to match the massive chip on the other side of the bonnet.

Not having much luck at the moment!

I suppose it could be the colour attracting these objects - like mine.

My old 'gold' subaru used to attract things hitting the windscreen for some reason and the odd person just running into me.

I feel your pain on the last point. Was driving behind a cement truck the other week that had dried pieces of concrete falling off the back of the truck and hitting my car. One stone hit the windscreen pretty hard but couldnt see a chip. The next day whilst driving I heard a crack, the windscreen had a huge crack from a stone chip I must have picked up the previous day. The stone chip was right on the chassis number so couldnt see a problem whilst driving. £75 excess :(

A new windscreen is better than a bonnet respray! Think it is the colour - in the 5 years I had the Bora nothing like that apart from the usual road rash.

Gutted about tyre too as it had only done 3k.
