Have just covered my first 1,000 miles in my 1.6 CR Hatch.

Have got to say I'm more than impressed. I do a 50 + 50 mile commute each day; driving through three small towns and 60mph open roads.

Coming home from work tonight I've clocked an average 65mpg and I'm not afraid to overtake/accelerate when needed!

Have been considering one of these for a while myself - probably an Elegance with a few extras.

'Drive The Deal' seem to be cheapest so far. Anything to watch out for ? Does the Dealer definitely call you to take the order within 2 days ? (the VAT free deal ends next week, so I'm aware of time limitations). Is it always the same dealer that supplies Octavias via DTD ?
