HI EVERYBODY

Please help a newbie

can anybody tell me the location of the drivers side side airbag crash sensor?????? on an 07 octavia estate!

Its flagging up 01221 crash sensor side airbag (G179) and 01217 side airbag igniter drivers side (N199) upper limit reached

and if (after finding it) we find it is faulty and fitting a new one do we have to go through an adaptation process?

:S

I thought the main airbag ECU controlled all the airbags, i.e it could sense front to back & side to side impacts and set off whatever airbags were needed as necessary,
