during the last few days, at a bit over a year old and 16K miles, the hatch has started opening by itself.

The first time it had been in very strong sunshine, come undone on the drivers side, and took a bit of untangling to get it back straight in the runners.

Now, it will pop open randomly, usually when driving.

Anyone else had this?

If so, is there a quick fix, or is it a garage and bag of money job?

Bump.

Fauilt has progressed: the catch has now disappeared, so the shelf will not latch at all on the drivers side.

Is there a known method of fixing this, or is it a garage job?

Just called and they will have a look at it this afternoon...

... and they did.

Fixed in about an hour, no charge, and vacuumed out too.

Job done.
