what headunit will work with the OE cd changer

Featured Replies

ok next question... i am after changing the OE stereo in the vrs for one that has an aux input or will play mp3's but i would like one that will still work the OE cd changer in the boot.. is there such a thing or am i stuck with the OE stuff

ta muchly

I don't think there is. But if you get a headunit that plays Mp3 DVDs you can put 600+ songs on one CD... which kind of does away with the need for a 6 CD changer... sell the changer for £80 on ebay

Debating about whether to sell mine (and the Symphony headunit). I could get half the cost of my new H/U back if I sold the OEM stuff but don't know whether to keep it in case I want to return it to standard if I sell the car :S

To the OP - I think these are what you are on about?
