Anyone got Prorack S44 Aero X Whisperbars on their estate ?

Are they any good ?

As they fit in between the roof rails, if putting a bike on the roof, does it mean you have to stretch over the roof a lot ?

I got a pair of s44 whispbars. they fit perfectly, are very quiet. You could fit maybe 3 bikes on them. I'll take some pics and post them in a few weeks time as I am on holiday abroad, but you don't have to strech . As they fit at the same height as the roof rails themselves, they are not high at all. Expensive, but you get the perfect look on the car, plus don't affect the fuel consumption if you leave them on.

Im not so concerened about the height - its more the fact that they are between the roof rails, rather than over the top of them, means i would need to lean over the roof more to fix bike ?

Just got my Whispbar's delivered today - first impressions they dont look wide enough to have two bikes on the roof side by side ?

Dont have new car yet thought so will need to wait and see or do some measuring in the meantime.

yes you can use Thule bike racks or any other ones that use aero bar "T" fittings - mine are made by Atera
