Flywheel question

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if the flywheel on a Fabia 1.4 16v (100bhp) is single mass or dual mass?

Still got the strange vibration which I thought was the flywheel but I have heard its a single mass flywheel, can anyone confirm this?

Cheers

Cheers dude! That rules out flywheel judder then lol! wonder if it's the clutch then?

Get up to a speed higher than when the juddering occurs, then go into neutral and allow engine to idle and car slow down naturally. If it still judders, it's a driveshaft or suspension issue. If not it's the engine or drivetrain. Also check left hand engine mounting and rear gearbox steady (dogbone mount)

Sorry forgot to mention you can feel a slight judder on idle somtimes, maybe its got a slight misfire?

Cheers for the advice tho, I will try it out when the wife brings the car home.
