Can GTi rims fit Skoda Octavia vRS?

Featured Replies

Hi

Is the latest Skoda Octavia vRS (2.0 Turbo, 6 spd DGS) having the same wheel specs as Golf Gti?

PCD 5 x 112

Centre bore 57.1mm

offset +50

anyone can enlighten me please? I am having little luck searching this forum.

i think that should fit just fine.

.. whether its a good idea aethetically is open to discussion. :smirk:

As Rob_e says, they will fit, but whether they look good is another matter.....

IMHO they don't suit the Octy.

Although the Pescara's found on the Edition 30 Golf are almost idnetical to the BBS CH as seen on many a fine vRS!!

+1 I'm afraid, though in truth I don't think those wheels look great on a Golf either!

IMHO it suits GTI perfectly

theres a reason why loads of the GTI guys change them :giggle:

They just want lighter alloys :p

Well personally i think they look ruddy awful on Golf's and even less suited to the Octy

The standard GTI wheels look absolutely horrendous on Octavias - just disastrous.

Standard gti wheels are a no no on the octy but the mk6 gti r wheels would look good i think

Thanks everyone

I had those rims on my GTI. Lovely looking wheel IMHO and suits the Mk5 perfectly.

Only problem with them was the diamond cut /laquered finish was a nightmare if your other half has a tendency to "touch" a kerb when parking :o

I'd love to see a vrs with ED30 pescara wheels - that would look great i think, but they are pretty rare wheels..

CH028 is similar (but nicer - wider, much lower offset). Much rarer than the CH029 (Pescara) though. Took me ages to find some...

Ahhhhhhh, perfection..................................................................almost! the grille needs colour coding :giggle: out of interest, what suspension set up are you running, its got an awesome stance.

Maybe paint the grille yellow, just to be different? :p

Now there's a thought. :giggle:

they look great - 19"s?

18s

I'm curious how would OZ Ultraleggeras in 19" or OZ Alleggeritas in 18" look on Octavia...
