Air Con Help

Featured Replies

Morning All,

I've just had my Air Con refilled and cleaned at Kwik Fit as it was non existent. Now it is behaving oddly. It gets lovely and cold for 30 seconds and then reverts to normal temp for a further 30 seconds, then back to cold again for 30 secs and on and on and on.....

I'm guessing (and it is a guess) that there might be a sensor/thermostat type thing somewhere in cabin that has malfunctioned and is cutting in and out.

Does anyone have any previous experience with this.? Off on family hols in August and not looking forward to long drive with hot/moaning family....

Cheers

Take it back to kwik fit and tell them its not been working right since they did the work on it.

Really needs the aircon scanned for fault codes. There are several sensors and the dreaded flap motor.
