Fabia Stereo Install

Featured Replies

Im interested in making a bit of a boot build in my fabia and was just wanting some ideas for it, atm ive just got a sub box but i want to build one into the floor

i've been thinking of doing something along the same lines, but i cant bring myself to ditch my spare wheel. so i'm thinking about having a false floor thats higher up so i can fit a speaker in it and an amp.

the downside is that it will sound awful when compared to a sub in a proper enclosure/box.

False floors are good. However, my mtae had one in his mk4 golf and it looked sheit, he'd done a really shoddy job.

I had a thought of making a custom box facing side on (either passenger side or driver side), secured using the two hooks near the edge of the boot.. however, its a bit of effort to make a proper custom box (look & sound decent). Found a custom box maker on ebay for about £60, this is for single sub layout with port. Tho Im not prepared to pay £60 for a box which may or may not sound good.. :S

I should have some pictures somewhere of my old sub install.

It was made with a false floor and easy connections. Everything could be removed in minutes.

It was done in a Fabia Combi, but still.

Will have a look.
