Hey folk, I'm wanting a focus st fmic for my fab but don't know what one to get I know only a certain year will work on the fabia I can get the custom pipe work sorted. Do I need anything else? I herd you need a custom maf :S

there was a thread not long ago where sum1 put a focus st intercooler on his fabia...dont know why you'd need a custom maf as it only measures the air flow for fueling...

You need silicone hoses, reducers. and bracket welded onto a section of pipe so that the Maf sensor can plug into.

You do indeed need the pre facelift intercooler as it's thinner

I have one sitting in my boot which is gonna be for sale if the car sells

MAF = turbo intake

FMIC = turbo outtake.

Forge do a pipe insert & you can get the bare flanges to just weld on also

The ST intercoolers about the same size as you're lower grille. Not exact size but will sit nicely behind it and get plenty of air

The intercoolers not for sale yet as if my car doesn't sell it'll be fitted

Get a seat sport fmic! Biggest you`ll squeeze in, and pretty cheap!

No I want the focus one, as I'm smoothing my bumper and just leaving the little grill can someone confirm what st fmic year to get as there is a few on eBay and I know I need the thinner one so what year to get?

2005 - 2008 mate

That's awesome m8, cheers so any thing from 05 and up will fit behind the bumper!

What year is yours?

Apart from that all I need is the piping and sleeves where could I get them?

Mines is from a 57 plate and my fabia's a 2005 05

I've not got pipe etc for mines, search for bennet he listed links for pipes couplings etc
