Anyone else with Continental SportContact 2 tyres finding they are excessively noisy? I though the Dunlop Sport Maxx were bad but these are terrible. The noise is getting on my wick! I fitted some more sound proofing over the weekend over the wheel arches. It helped a bit but the road noise is still ever present. Some frequencies are obviously blocked as the sound of cars passing is really clear (and a bit iritating!)

I'm contemplating changing tyres to Michelin Sport Contact2/3. Anyone with these found the noise reduced much?

Yup, I’ve had the sportcontact on the rear for the last 20,000 and they have become very noisy now (got about 2.5mm left on). Front have the 2 version on but aren’t to bad atm.

They are bad. Vreds are better.
