Hi guys,

Does anyone have a modded/chipped fabia VRS in the newcastle area, as ours is standard and we would be interested to see what a 180/190 brake one was like before we upgrade

You might wish to ask on Seatcupra.net to see if anyone has a chipped Ibiza TDI as that would feel similar. I've been in one once and it was pretty brisk...

Got a Jabba remapped Octy if you wanna demo

It'll show you the difference between std and mapped. It'll convince you without even seeing the Fab :p

manguish... i was more into having a demo of furby, cos i know how much difference mapping can make on petrols, e.g. my saab 9000 aero, circa 270bhp, 420nm.

Hi, i now have a Kodiac IV hybrid as my company car, 5 weeks old and already 5500 miles, so getting lots of use. Couple of things i have concerns about. The brakes don't seem to be up to the job, i thought it might be because they were new and would bed in, but sometimes i really have to stand on the pedal to get it to stop, i doubt weather they are strong enough to bring any form of anti lock into operation, and secondly, several times now i haven't been able to refuel, the pump nozzle clicks o

Hi I would like some advice feedback. I just had my 3rd major service for my 2023 Skoda Octavia VRS and noticed that this time they used 0w-20 oil but the previous they used 0w-30w oil. According to my understanding the oil recommended for the tsi engine is 0w-20 to its thinner viscosity meeting emissions regulations and being better for the turbo engines under heavy loads than the 0w-30 which has a thicker viscosity. Thankfully i don't place much load on the engine, apart for loading the car f

Phone not ringing for incoming calls

When I receive a call it does not now ring on the infotainment system although I can see I have a call on the screen. I wondered if it might be my phone so I tested it with my wife's, with the same result - or lack of. Both phones will ring in her car though. Any ideas please?
