Parcel Shelf Recall

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I had a quick scan on the forum but I could see anything.

I received a call from my dealer (Silbury Skoda) to advise me that there was a recall to rectify the parcel shelf clips and the plastic plugs they slot into. The dealer said they will replace the boot lining and the parcel shelf clips with revised versions.

I have a 59 plate Fabia 1.2

We haven't heard anything for the wife's car yet but it is through a different dealer.

Cheers.

On my wife’s fabia both of the plastic plugs that the shelf pivots on have broken off, I expected the dealer would not play ball and try and put it down to wear and tear as she puts a push chair in the boot quite often, I would love to know if it is a common problem, hers is a 59 plate and low mileage

I took my car in the other day and they told me that the parts were breaking, so they said they would replace when they came in, said nothing about a recall, would explain as cant for the life of me see any damage whatsoever.

I bought my 57 plate from Silbury and have not been contacted

My dealer is going to replace my wife’s, it is 09 and 59 cars effected, it is not a critical fix so it just gets done at the next service or if the car is in for anything else.

The same happened on mine - the plugs broke not the clips.
