ABOUT TO PARK TODAY,HEATER IS ON FULL WITHOUT AIR CON,PUT CAR IN TO REVERSE GEAR AND WHAT SOUNDED LIKE ANOTHER BLOWER MOTOR STARTED UP FROM BEHIND GLOVE BOX (OR NEAR THAT AREA) ANY IDEAS OR HAS SKODA FITTED AN EXTRA BLOWER TO KEEP YOU WARM WHEN REVERSING ? :confused:

Is the extra noise rather like when you switch the airflow to "recirculate", by any chance?

I think this could be something to do with switching to recirculating mode when in reverse. I seem to recall my car does it presumably to stop the car inhaling its own exhaust fumes when you reverse and thus gasing the occupants. (Otherwise I could have just made this up.)
