A nice drive

Featured Replies

Took my Scout for a good run today - around 300km of motorways (including finding the right surface for the Pirellis to make the most awful racket - luckily only 2km of it! The rest included over 60km of dirt/gravel, ranging from well surfaced nicely designed wide roads down to 30km of very winding good to rough single lane running. Destination was picnic grounds near Wombeyan Caves. A couple of surprises - for a brand with only 180 sales nationwide last month, it's in Europcar's rental fleet and some people had taken an elegance wagon along the same roads (only a rental I suppose!). And our Ambulance service has at least one Scout in full colours as a command car.

The vanity bit - here's a few shots of my Scout, parked on one of the nicer bits of gravel road.

Vanity or not, looks good.

Gorgeous B) just a shame that they don't do it with the DSG box as I'm disabled.

Hey ho, may just have to content myself with a vRS

As I understand it, Skoda are introducing a DSG version of the Scout (and also the 4x4 Octavia Estate) towards the end of this year (week 45).
