Wheel fitment...

Featured Replies

I currently own a 2006 skoda superb 1.9tdi and I have seen these standard16" vw alloys with good tyres on ebay, now will these be a straight swap or will there be a problem with the offset etc

any info much appreciated :smirk:

Their is no "standard vw alloy" they come in different PCD's and offsets.

The Passat B5 B5.5 will be a direct fit, others may have too much offset.

If its any help this is what the wheel fitments should be for a Superb

Superb

PCD: 5x112

Offset 35 to 42

Bore 57.1

Im running an offset of 45 with 7.5J 17" rims and there is still pleanty of clearence.

I think octavia II wheels (or posibly golf) the offset is more like 55. Some one correct me if im wrong. PCD will be wrong if the wheels are off a Mk IV golf or something like that.

just out of interest, does a bigger offset mean that the wheel is more outboard?

Try putting some figures into the link I just gave you above mate and it tells you............... :|

The bigger the offset the closer the wheel is to the hub..........
