has anyone replaced the radio aeriel on an estate - I bought a new mast to replace the one on my 02 elegance estate, it unscrews (and lowers) to a point but will not come off completly it seems as if theres a nut attached on the inside of the body fastened to the roof. Please help its driving me nuts!

Please help its driving me nuts!

If its just the mast and not the base, give it a really hard tug, harder than you think, its an anti theft thing!
