Hi,

The reversing lights on my 03 Fabia 1.2 don't work. Bulbs seem OK, changed the fuse, still don't work.

What else can I look for? Please bear in mind that I'm not mechanically minded or experienced.

More than likely the reversing switch which is quite easy to replace (although not sure where it is on the gearbox for the 1.2).

With the fan on, does the fan get louder (active recirculation) when you put it into reverse? (Should do this to prevent sucking up your own fumes.) If it doesn't then it's most likely the reverse sensor switch thing. If it does, then I'm not too sure.

Does sound like the reverse switch.

I had the same problem with a 2003 1.2 HTP and it was the switch.

Sorry can't help as to how to do it as I just paid the the dealer to sort it out as i'm to lazy to do it myself
