What does this button do

Featured Replies

on the stick where you control the wipers theres a switch on the top, with about 4 different places it can clip to, going from a small dash to a large one, what does it do?

Isn't that the one that controls the frequency of the intermitent wipers? Right hand often left hand now and then.

Yes you move it left for slow and right for faster.

I don't to sound patronising, but if you have an owners manual, it will tell you in there (RTFM). If not you can download one from a link in a sticky thread.

To answer the question, it controls how long the intermittent wipe is on for. You can choose it wipes every 5 seconds, every 10, every 20 and every 30 seconds (That's what it does on the Mk 1 anyway).
