Hello Fabia People!

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just agreed to swap my Octavia vRS (it's a mk2 TFSI) for a Fabia vRS + cash my way, as I needed something cheaper.

Its a well looked after example - it's had a full leather re-trim inside, and has cruise - and is in my favourite colour, Black.

I'm planning on keeping it standard for a little while, but I'm sure I'll get the modifying bug again soon - a remap is on the cards, as is suspension (what's the consensus here? coilovers or springs?), ARB and some new alloys.

Looking forward to hanging out in here a bit rather than over on the Octavia side :).

Bit sad to let the Octavia go, but clouds of SOOT here we come!!! :D

Springs will only get you 25mm down, if you want a good drop you need coilies

KW V1's are the ones you want

Alloys id always go 17" oem

Audi s3

Audi tt 6 spokes

Audi tt comps

Ibiza cupra

Octy vrs mk1

Best bit to source wheels is edition 38

You'll require tires in 205/40/17 size

Hi,

Agree on the wheels - seen a few sitting on nice Ibiza Cupra wheels. Not sure about drop - I'd like to go low, but can't go too low as I live down basically a dirt track... will see how I get on standard and see what clearance I have...

Ah if thats the case 25mm will suffice then the fabia undertray sits way low as it has a low sump! I lost mine :o
