'Large' Detail.......

Featured Replies

Hope the pictures were ok, I am not that good at photography.

It was a very long day, but well worth the effort. At last I can see the paint as it was meant to be.

Great job

This is IMO the best colour in the Superb range - but unfortunately not a practical one for me emoticon-0106-crying.gif.

If you think that was big then wait until you get your hands on it's bigger brother (although hopefully it will have less paint correction needed)

Stunning work as usual ,that must have taken a fair while , but well worth it as shown in the pics .

It was a very long day, and it was all day into the evening.

Just keeps on getting better....

Nice work as always Baker and nice motor too Mannyo. the colour looked much deeper after the detail.

Baker, been meaning to ask, when you're pressure washing out the boot sills and door pillars, does the interior not take a bit of a drenching too sometimes? Also, after a detail the cars always look well, just wondering how long the results last? I mean, next time you come to wash it does the dirt basically fall off of the car and it's back to almost 'detail clean' again?

Oh and I see the flip flops remain too. I don't know what to say. If we ever meet, I'm taking you for a beer and we're having a chat about that ... and the hair grip.

top job there.took me ages to look through that post on detailing world might have to go on there to get some tips for myself out of interest how much would it cost to get my fabia vrs done like you did the superb or something similar pm me if you'd rather not say on here

Wow; seriously good stuff  Nice motor.

Very nice.

I agree that the car has some depth in the colour, does seem to change depending on where and when your looking at it.........

With regards to Pressure Washing you have to realise that some spray will get in where you don't want it too but in the grand scheme of things, when your doing a full detail it's not something you need to worry about and to answer the longevity question, if you was and top up the car safely next time it will last and look as good for many months, mine is a good example of this..........

What can I say, glad you like the flip-flops and hair grips.......... :smirk:

The truth is I have been growing my hair of late and it's got to the stage now where I am tempted to get it all cut off, not great in this warm weather but these things work a treat for keeping it out of the way..........
