Irritating......any ideas?

Featured Replies

Ok so here goes.. Bought a 51 plate Sdi 3 weeks ago as a non runner due to power steering pump failure apparently.. When I got it home and got it started (has been sat for nearly 6 months) I found absolutely no faults and the car went like a dream.......

Took the Mrs away for the weekend and on saturday,,power steering stopped working...not a huge issue,,im a big lad so decided to nurse it home on sunday.... on way home,,car started cutting out when driving.. IF you dip the clutch before lifting throttle,,its settles to tick over nicely but lift throttle then dip clutch as normal and it dies...........

I had just driven through a rainstorm but cant see how that could be a reason for the stalling....

Could the stalling be anything to do with the steering maladies????

PAS may just be the battery or steering angle sensor. Cutting out one sounds a bit weird and a code scan may tell you more. May just be a faulty clutch switch.
