My stereo fascia is getting a bit tired and was wondering if anyone knew of a good DIY spray can substitue for the original brushed aluminium type finish?

My stereo fascia is getting a bit tired and was wondering if anyone knew of a good DIY spray can substitue for the original brushed aluminium type finish?

i used this on the trim on my smart fortwo been on there 2years now http://www.plasti-kote.co.uk/Search/ocode---5457/Go_objects---GO

just rember to key the surface first

VW satin silver is a near perfect match as that's what I used for my MFD3 surround

I've just bought a VRS from Skoda and asked them to replace the silver fascia as it was a bit scratched. Apparently it's only circa £20 and it now it looks like new again. Might be worth looking in to

Aye - this is the one.

I installed a Columbus and needed a new surround.

Because my car has the older AC system I could only buy the surround in black.

I used a plastic primer followed by VW Satin Silver.

It looks exactly the same as the rest of the "silver" inside my vRS.

As said...Get a new one...only around £20
