Stuck with 1 odd tyre now.

Featured Replies

came out the house this morning to find 1 flat rear tyre, found a screw bedded in the tread...........problem was,I'm using the car to get to the airport in a few hours and the only available tyre was from kwik fit.

Now got one rear marangoni tyre (never heard of them) brand new and a continental with half tread on the rears...not what i wanted but had to get a tyre today.

the word is cheesed off as was going to wait and get a decent set in a few months when the fronts had worn down some more.

What's the spare like??? Is it a conti?? Could you have just had the spare put on to replace the damaged conti then had the new tyre fitted onto the spare???

The mrs just needed her two front tyres replacing and i had 1 Conti sportcontact2 taken off mine a while ago with good tread. I got the tyre place to fit the conti sportcontact2 she had on her spare and the one tyre i had onto the fronts then just had a cheapo tyre fitted on the spare.

Didn't think the Fabia vRS came with a space saver...... Although thinking about it was it an option???

I know both ours have a full size steel spare.
