Felicia fluids

Featured Replies

Tried desperately to save a kitten - but nothing popping up .

Anyone got any info on specs for a petrol 1.3 -such as oil/anti freeze /brake fliud .

For anyone regrading ( being diplomatic here) to an 2000 -2006 Fabia - and with a Felicia Haynes covering a R reg - I will soon have a Fabia Haynes available for a swap .Give me a PM .

Brake fluid, just the usual DOT4 stuff.

Oil. Opinions vary. I'd go for 10w 40 semi synthetic, and if oil consumption/uncurable leaks were an issue would probably use 15w-40 or the cheap 20w-50 instead (available in Asda, Morrisons and Wilkinsons).

Anti-freeze - no idea what they were originally sold with but I'd give the system a good flush through so none is remaining (heater set to full, drained from bottom hose) and use g12+ (GSF or Skoda dealers) or the red advanced stuff from Halfords (equivalent to the older g12 spec).

Thanks, mate - was bothered in absence of handbook( not unusual with age of car) that it might be special ( got too used to Fabia PD).If it's not critical ,I'll probably got for the old faithful -Duckhams Q.

Remember some engines didn't like certain antifreezes - that's one on my list .
