Fabia 2005 VRS

Need to know what tools needed to remove rear wheel hub bearing housing from stub axle. (3 legged Puller)??

I know/have 32mm Thin walled socket for hub nut.

Been told two types of hub ie ABS & non-ABS brake system, something to do with ABS magnetic pick-up probe that sticks through disc backing plate??

Help appreciated ..

hello again!! assuming you have ABS the bad news is that the hub and bearing are "nonserviceable" I think the sensor ring is inside the bearing which makes replacement delicate, so it's scrap --- just torque up the new nut to 175Nm

Thanks for that 'cheshire cat, but not removing anything just yet, just trying to find-out,

whether, once hub-nut removed, if hub assembly just slides off stub axle easy, or does it require a 3 legged puller to get it off ??

there's no taper so should come off with little force but who knows??
