Climatic and climatronic are different.

Do you have manual climate control or duel zone automatic climate control?

automatic climatic control (climatronic)

Well you should definately notice a difference in where the air is coming out by switching the buttons around (face level etc), particularly if you turn the fan speed up. If there isn't a difference then this is a definate fault.

when i press the leg vents button the air stop from the windscreen vents

but when i press the face vents button the air still come from the windscreen vents

when i press both the face and the leg buttons, the air also almost completely stop from the windscreen vents

so till now the leg vent button is the only way for me to stop air from coming out of those windscreen vents , but i really don't want air on my legs :S

The air certainly reduces towards the screen when I press face.

I think one of the flap motors has failed, but you will have to get this scanned by VCDS to confirm it.

I think thats normal to be honest. In any case it would only be a solution for a certain time anyway - your problem is caused by warm moist air (in this case outside) hitting a cold surface and condensing. By keeping the cold air-con air away from the windscreen as much as possible you slow the rate it gets cold and so will delay the condensing process, but eventually if you have a cool/cold cabin it will reach the same temperature and you will still get condensing. I don't know Egyptian conditions, but the moisture/humidity in the air may only be a certain times of the year anyway (at other times the air outside may be hot but too dry to cause condensation). As I said before your best bet may be an externally applied glass product with anti-fogging properties...

Hi guys

I live in Egypt with hot weather so normally i have to turn on the air condition which work great.

My problem is at night when fogging start appear on the lower part of the windshield from the outside especially at the middle !!!

i know its due to the cold air coming from the vents under the windshield from inside making the glass cold while the outer is hot, that fogging is so annoying and i must turn on the wipers to get rid of them and they start appear again :'(

this problem dose not happen in the morning when the weather out side the car is more hot that at night for sure !!! i don't know why, but may be cause the sun evaporate such fogging may be !!! :wonder:

i don't know how to get red of such night outer fogging except stopping the air from those vents !!!! :S

on automatic mode they work , when i press the front vents only button still the air come out from those windshield vents !!!

the only way is pushing the button that turn on the leg air condition alone or in addition to pressing is with the front vent button, and this is the only way i figured it out to prevent such night fogging , but yet i don't want air on my legs :S and the front vents do not push much air when its added to the legs vents as when its alone or at Auto !!!!!!

what can i do guys ??

Is it normal for those vents to bring air all time at Auto or when the front vents button is pressed ?? or i have something wrong in my air condition system ??

can't i stop air from coming from those windshield vents without pressing the legs condition button ???

help me plzzzzz :S

I'm experiencing the same situation like you I'm living in Egypt and I get the fog all the time during summer and there's nothing to do about it....

By the way which Service center do you deal with?
