Boost Fluctuating

Featured Replies

interesting... the previous owner got Celtic to remap it.. With mine the power comes in early and not very much afterwards..

Another reason to go to R-Tech

I have posted earlier in this thread, solution to my problem was a new fuel pump.

One other thing I have noticed recently, running the car on 95RON makes one hell of a (bad) difference! I've always used Tesco 99 RON SUL ever since purchasing the car. 2 months back I went to fill up and they were out of the stuff so had to use 95 ( ) Nasty is all I can say. Fuel consumption went down by 4MPG and I was getting a noticable drop off in boost etc. YAMZ89- what fuel are you using??

Edit to say: Just re-read your earlier post about 9PSI difference in boost. Mines probably 2 PSI difference so sounds like probably not fuel related then...

Hi Dan,

Yeah I've always ran it on super unleaded. Either V-Power or Momentum. I'm gonna make a boost leak tester and see where I am from there. I may fit a fresh fuel filter too..
