Panasonic Lumix FZ38 Digital Camera

Featured Replies

For sale is my Panasonic Lumix FZ38 digital camera.

I bought it from Amazon in March 2010 and would therefore imagine it is still under manaufacturers warranty.

A few months ago I became a bit fed up carting DSLR gear around and decided to go for the FZ38. Despite it being one of the best compact superzooms available, it just isn't for me and I've decided to go back to a DSLR (expensive mistake for me as I sold all my SLR gear before buying the FZ38 :'( ).

The camera is in very good (virtually unmarked) condition and comes complete with all manual, cables, software, charger, battery, original packaging and a 4 Gb Sandisk SD card.

The FZ38 has recently been awarded a "Gold Award" by DP review in their SuperZoom group test July 2010. The full review can be found here: DP Review Superzoom Group Test July 2010

The headline technical specs of the camere are as follows:

* HD Movie in AVCHD Movie Mode

* 18x Optical Zoom

* Seamless Operation

* Full Manual Operation

* Megapixels: 12.1

* HD Movie in AVCHD Lite and Creative Movie Mode

* 18x Optical Zoom 27mm Wide-angle LEICA DC Lens in a Compact Body

* POWER O.I.S. Hand-shake Blurring Compensation

* Seamless Operation with Quick Start-up Time and Ultra High-speed AF

* IA (Intelligent Auto) Mode with Face Recognition
