Brake Problem

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, I've just replaced the front discs and pads on my mark1. It has covered 100k and the discs were a bit worn as well as a judder starting when braking. New discs / pads fitted and everything was great fo rabout 1500 miles then I am startingto get a judder when braking gently. I f I brake hard the judder goes away. There is also a grinding noise occasionaly when braking. I've rechecked the discs / pads / sliding pins but everything seems to be okay. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Could there be some dirty behind the mating surface of the disks, causing a slight wobble? Or your disks have warped....
