I want a Skoda

Featured Replies

I need a new car and have narrowed it down to a 3 year Skoda Octavia 2.0D Laurin & Klement. Unfortuneately, The appear to be only marginally more common than hens teeth especially in the Northern half of the Country where Most people seem to have opted for the 1.9D, but after a 2.0 petrol coupe, it seems a bit slow for my liking. My only concern since reading your lovely forum is the turbo eating and pump chewing habits of this engine.

I want the L&K as I have dog, and my wife insisits on it sitting in the car with us, so leather is easier to wipe down.

I'd quite fancy a vrs, but they all come with that pale grey patch in the seats that would soon become a pale brown patch, so hence I've decided on the L&K, fingers crossed a good un will show up soon.

Welcome to the forums

There was a member on here who had his vRS kitted out in full leather by seat surgeons so don't discount the vRS just yet, there are some about with factory fit leather too

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome Nonno!

Probably putting 2+2 together and getting 5 :giggle: but you're not related to Jacqueline Coia from Uddingston are you? (who last i heard had headed off to the other side of the world with a Mr I Findlay) ?

P.s. if you find a Vrs with full leather they dont have that patch.

You're getting 5, I'm afraid.
