The mk1 has much more square shaped corners so it would not be a perfect fit into the dash.

As said, the mk2 has a different shaped space, so it wouldn't fit without modification.

One thing which bugs me though is there's no mention of amplifier power output anywhere on the page. It's worth checking it actually has a built in amp, as we used to sell a headunit at work which didn't have an amp built in, but it had an iso connector on the back.

Okay thanks to responces think il leave until a mk1 comes up but if i decide to go for an aftermarket double din one this would be fine as long as iget cage,iso lead.
