Chemical dip to remove old finish.

Bead blast to take every thing thats left.

Powder coated and baked

:S Sorry guys just been out and got pics but cant see how to attach them............a bit 2 much red wine. Tried the insert image Icon on the tool bar but no luck?

Great deal and pics look like a decent finish.

Had mine done by a reputable local alloy wheel refinisher on a previous Audi and paid £60 per corner and wasn't that impressed with the results either.

Indeed it would. small particles baked onto one of the wheels, two of the wheels couldn't be removed due to the layers of coating sticking to the hub and had to be hammered off for 30 mins, and loads of fine scratches developed after 1 week (not sure of reason), but didn't do anything to the wheels i hadn't done to any other alloy and didn't get the scratches with those.

They get so much trade work, the fact that they didn't do a particularly good job on a private customers wheels doesn't seem to matter much. :thumbdown:
