My car is doing fine!

Featured Replies

I love my Vrs.

I also have a 2011 Subaru WRX STI which is great fun. Still enjoy driving the Vrs though..!

Had my vrs 3 years now. On a 55 plate with 38k on it. Had 9k as a demonstrator before we had it.

The only thing that's failed was the abs sensor, I think, but it meant a whole ecu. 900 notes and a further 12k down the road and all is well even if I do keep having to respray the bumpers as the mrs thinks that missing the gates is optional.

One of the best cars I have owned. Since I've had it it has done 4 trips to the south of France and the alps, taken in preference to my 5series, can't fault the car there's no better way to carry a lot of stuff fast for less money.

Great thread - nice antidote to the more usual 'problem, urgent help needed' thread!

8 months in from new. VERY happy.

I've a 07 with 44k and mine since new.

It's never been back to the dealer except to be serviced. Never had a single problem so far (quickly touch wood!).

The only issues it has are not significant. Front and rear badges need replaced and there are a couple of rattles on the inside.

But that's it and I think even those little probs could be sorted quite easily.

I was giving it a proper clean and polish yesterday and was admiring the car all over again.

Had my 1.9 Tdi Elegance, Black Magic, Ivory interior for 18 months now, 15,000 on clock. Only complaint is the lack of lumbar support, dealer says they are ok???

Vandalised wing mirror £230. Headlamp washers have stopped working since winter freeze.

Last long run - 190 miles motorway, dual carriageway, two city centre ring roads - 3hours 54mpg.

Would like vRS but think 1.9 is fast enough for me.

Brilliant car!!
