16 tdi CR who are they going

the 16tdi has been out for nealy a year now, have any done any high miles and what they been like, any problems as the mpg been as good as it should etc any feed back would be good, i am waiting for mine and will do about 25k a year.

was an absolute smooth dream - its a great engine the 1.6CR

:thumbup:Have had my one since March and have done 14000 mile. absolutely love the car and engine, had a focus 1.6tdci before and this is smoother quieter and a better driver

Had one for two years now - nothing to report, no problems at all. The engine doesnt even seem to consume oil like most diesels.

44000km and rolling, it will 2 in July

In terms of oil, I have changed it every 15km, now to change at 45km, dipstick has dropped 2/3mm at change

25k on the clock and quite happy. MPG average approx 50 due to 4x4; still pretty good for a 4x4..

I got one as a hire car last week. Economy was fine but performance wasn't that great, a 1.6 engine in an estate this size was a little under powered. Or I might be used to my vrs! For long distance on the motorway it was fine though. With 3 of us in the car at 70mph I was getting an average of 60mpg

Had mine for 18 months now (dsg) and covered 53k

Goes better than ever delivering consistent 54mpg( so says maxidot!)

Having said that I wish I had been able to choose a 2.0 .....so much pokier and just as good mpg

next time......
