Heres hoping you tell me this is an easy thing to fix!

My fans don't work on 1,2,3 but they work on setting 4 and the AC only works on setting 4. Any ideas?

Yep - busted resistor - 1,2,3 rely on resistor, but speed 4 doesn't. Need a new one, not too expensive, bit of a fiddle to get to (behind/above radio / glovebox area)

brill, i'd hoped it was something easy. any photos on how to get to area? is it easy enough?

Yeah, although that suggests it is more above the glovebox. I did mine a while ago and thought I got a hand to the left of the radio - with the glovebox out. Handy link that! Worth a sticky

Any part number to help the cause when replacing?
