Saw TWO, yes TWO SMs' this weekend.

1st one at our campsite at Rockley Park Dorset, and one travelling West through Arundel on Sunday 8th at 4.05pm

Kitten and I were at Rockley park packing up our current caravan ready for our new caravan arriving hopefully August BH weekend, and our SN will be ready for collection then too

Hope to see a few next weekend in pickering all parked together

Just seen my first confirmed Yeti in 'S' trim parked up in Thornton-le-Dale, all previous sightings have been mainly Elegance with the odd SE. 'Tibetan' white 110 TDI 4x4 on a private plate **** YET with the Pickering dealers details displayed on the bottom of the plate.

Has a slightly different look running on 16" rim's and deeper profile tyres; which I think on first impression I prefer. Would like to see one with the Moon alloys but sadly there not available over here :( Be very tempted to switch mine if they were.

Spotted a white snow monster driving throug Lyndhurst on Saturday morning.

I'm in the middle of a mini European tour with our SM and amazingly after a couple of thousand miles we have seen a total of....

NONE!!!

Considering how many of these things have apparently been sold; I'm gobsmacked.

They're all hiding in the UK, that's why :giggle:

Purchased my Octavia I 4x4 from Norwich and to some extent regretfully sold it to the dealer in Yarmouth (great car for it's time). Get the feeling they like Skoda 4x4 in that part of the world and having lived in Norfolk for 4 years, when it comes to winter I can understand why :S

Regards,

saw one on Friday in guildford one Saturday in pickering 3 more on Sunday (they stayed with me all day on the yeti run) and another one in cranliegh car park on Monday.

6 in four days :D

That must be a record wakev :D

Yeti fever has broken out in Liverpool!.Saw a Red one last Thursday and a Aqua Blue one last Saturday.

I saw a 10 plate aqua blue se in Richmond Park. I think it was a 2wd 110 diesel around 1pm.

Didn't see any in Cornwall last week on holiday. A few Roomsters were out and about though.

Saw a fellow red Yeti in Pembrokeshire (near Marloes) yesterday. The driver and front passenger both gave a friendly wave. Anyone on here????

after my last post in this thread and a further 700 miles covered on Spanish motorways I have to ask; is the yeti actually sold here????

I still haven't seen one but my word, ours has certainly had some looks; especially as it's now covered from sill to roof rail in mud and water after 'negotiating' a tricky flooded mountain road at the base of the Altea Hills area in the Costa Blanca lol

Honda crv's for the older people and kugas for the families seem to be the suv's of choice out here.

Spotted another Monster in Driff Tesco car park this morning, as per the norm an Elegance spec 140 in aqua. Not a local reg had a Deeside 10 plate with the Autosales dealership name on the bottom. In the wife's Corsa again which in usually the case :( be glad when we get her back into a Skoda albeit a Fabia.

The odd thing is a good percentage of Monsters I have spotted have been Deeside registered :wonder: but not in Deeside. Something about that part of the world that makes a Monster want to emigrate

Up in the Lakes this weekend and saw two SM's. A steel grey and a cappucino, considering I have only seen 3 EVER since I developed SM lust back in 2009 I was a tad chuffed.

Spent a week in Davos (Switzerland) a few weeks ago and it was crawling with Yetis, got quite blase about seeing them in the end!
