I would like to change the brightness setting for my DRL's under 2 conditions:

1) Normal mode, all other lights off: I want to dim the DRL's a bit

2) Sidelight mode: I want to increase DRL brightness a bit.

Is this possible with VCDS/VAG-COM, do you know which bytes/bits etc.

I have seen this in the last few bytes within controller "09" (central electrics)

Haven't played with this as I have standard DRL's on a elegance so they switch off when headlights switch on.

Had a bit of a fiddle.

I can reduce the DRL brightness with all other lights off, but can't find any option bytes to increase the sidelight DRL brightness.

DRL adjustment, despite 6 bit variable that suggests many levels:

off, 1/2 brightness (same as side light setting), full brightness
