Slipped taking my ladders off the roof rack when wet, they landed on the drivers wing mirror! SNAP!! :'(

Trundled off to the dealers £181.52+vat!! :wonder:

So a trip to the local breakers it was, £52 inclusive from a VRS that had gone to meet its makers, of course the insides would be different to my L&K wouldn't they! Even the way round the motor was mounted was different, some swearing and disassembly / reassembly later, I managed to get all the right bits in the right place working properly!

As a result I now have some spare drivers side mirror parts,

Corrida Red top mirror housing

heated, blind spot mirror glass (not blue)

mirror motor

lower mirror housing inc indicator

I haven't tested any of the electrical bits as they are totally different to the ones on my car so couldn't plug them in, although see no reason why they wouldnt work.

All free to a good home, you just need to pay P+P (sorry Mr Mod please tell me if this isn't allowed but I'm not trying to make anything from getting rid of them)

Me me me ill take them off you! I presume that the FL has the same mirrors as the Mk2 pre-fl? I always like to keep some spares!

Pre FL are smaller mirrors than the FL. (Unless it was from an 09 half FL which are rare)

Assuming that nobody especially wants the top mirror cover, at the moment (unless the current takers aren't happy with the postage costs) it's all gone!
