Check your brake lights are still working.....brake switch is a common fault; that'll kill cruise control!

Think the part is about £35 and fits above the brake pedal, should take about half an hour to change

Switch - brake light (common to all models)

1C0 945 511 A RDW - £7.76

(latest modified switch - green)

oh, and don't forget that the switch must be depressed before rotating it to remove/refit, or you will break it!

(Think I've got that the right way round fellas? emoticon-0112-wondering.gif ) I know I completely buggered my old one removing it!

They are quite cheap, I think I paid about £9 for genuine one. Don't bother with a copy as they carp.

Glad you're sorted. That cost me £60 when it happened to me!
