Coolant Light Flasing

Featured Replies

Noticed this on both vehicles now...but last night the car was parked on an incline with the front of the car lower down. Got into the car this morning and the coolant light was flashing. Got off the incline and restarted the car, stopped flashing.

Same thing happens on the gf's car when she does a long drive down south. Leaves the car for three days and gets back in...the coolant light starts flashing.

Anything at all to be worried about?

Check the coolant levels, if within the max-min levels then it will be the sensor, very common problem. You will need a new coolant expansion tank, as the sensor is built in to them, about £20 if I remember correctly.
