well i finally got my wheels done , thanks to www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk for the fantastic price and finish

i love them , had the car running on some borrowed audi tt 6 spoke rims whilst these got sorted, i liked the ofset of the audi

wheels (32) as it looked better with a wider stance so HC wheel spacers are soon to be made for me a work and maybe a little hit with the stick to the suspension. i was going to keep the wheels i borrowed but some nice people decided to steal them :'(

anyways onwards and upwards! (wheels are a bit dirty now )

so i decided to take the rear badge off today which just ended in fail, ive never got round to it till now and i knew the tailgate had been sprayed at some point

but masking every letter off ! really lame

will either put the badge back on or wet flat it in maybe a possability . eekkk

What I was going to say. Use some CYC clay and Dodo Juice born slippy and if that doesn't do the trick get someone with a machine polisher to his it with an abrasive polish and work up to a finer polish with buffing pad - then work their way around the car

Wheels look good. I was going to do the same with my old Spiders. How much were they in the end?

how did you package the wheels when you sent them off for a refurb and powder coat?

they came in at 160 plus vat , that with a few repairs and the tyres on, so refit and balance around £7.50 an wheel.

i had a quote with pristine in woburn and the came back with something like 70 ish plus vat without tyres in plain silver per wheel

im only 15mins up the road from the place when im at work , a good friend and many of his mates have used them , im chuffed to bits with them now i just need to loose my budget tyres when they wear out . teh noise is irratating me. it was a close call on these

i had them in my lock up and swaped them on the saturday , sunday nite pikeys broke in and stole anything alloy which was the audi wheels , unfortunately i still have to buy wheels i dont have :'(
