Back in nov 09 i had a problem with my n/s/r door not staying closed so i stripped down the rear door mechanism(that skoda said couldnt be done-new latch assembly £85+vat!) & freed off all the mechanism etc(fiddly job) & put it all back together & it worked fine! At the shops on sunday swmbo opened the rear door to put some shopping on rear seat......only problem was i had not unlocked the octy! stripped it all down again this morning & i hadnt aligned a lever inside the mechanism when i put it back together in nov09. Just goes to show even us mechanics make mistakes! Good job i havent been parking in any dodgy areas since nov09! What a numpty.......

My N/S/R door is not unlocking any more either, it only unlocks now and then. Is there a guide anywhere about how to fix it?
