New exhaust and remaps

Featured Replies

Recently I bought a turbo-back exhaust system for my VRS which already had a stage 1 generic remap on it. I was just really wondering if there is much point getting a custom remap to suit the new exhaust now, or is there no point until I get a few more mods to make the custom remap more cost efficient? I'm not really sure what kind of gains you can get just by changing the map to a custom remap based on the cars mods.

Thanks for any advice :)

No point until you are ready to go stage 2.

No point until you are ready to go stage 2.

What other mods are needed to be ready for stage 2? FMIC and the likes? i've got the breathing side of things sorted I think - with a CAI and downpipe / sports cat and a cat back system.

Usually turbo back exhaust which you've got, FMIC, and some stage 2 maps require a 4 bar fuel pressure regulator.

You could also consider fitting an uprated turbo intake pipe (TIP)
