Three year service plan/cost

Featured Replies

I have on order a Greenline II delivery some time in October.

I have just asked the dealers if I can get a three year fixed cost service plan and did not ask the price.

Skoda offer three plans, service, service and maintenance and service, maintenance and tyres.

What is the cost of the plans and are they worth having?

If I do not have a plan, what is the likely costs of the three service's

Thanks

I think it depends on the car. Are you planning to change after 3 years or is this a keeper? I am waiting for a Fabia and as far as I can remember I was quoted around £12/month for the 2nd plan and around £19 for the top plan. However, after the dealer 'explained' it to me I didn't go for it because I will change it after 3 years.

Hope this helps

I have not made my mind up to keep or to trade in at 3/4 years.

As it was explained to me - if you change cars at the end of the third year you wouldn't pay for a third service before returning it so why pay the extra 11 months for something you won't need?

I have a plan that covers all three services plus the cost of its first MOT and in addition you can have it valeted inside and out once a month for the 3 years of the plan...The cost, bought through the supplying dealer is £14 a month.....It does of course cover you for any service price increases etc in that time.....

Thanks for the info.

Still not decided, I usually pay cash for service over the years of ownership.

Though I have been told if I get a Skoda sevice plan you can take the car to any Skoda dealer.

I have not used HP before to buy a car and presume I would have to pay for the third service and MOT before trade in.
