anti hijack

Featured Replies

forgot to mention the anti hijack feature doesn't work,is this factory set or does it need setting through vag.

You need to enable it using VAG-COM

Anti hijack is not enabled from the factory, but is done by the dealer or someone with VCDS.

Same with the alarm chirps etc.

does anybody have the vag.com software around my area and could set up some of the options,i am in barnsley...

Have you looked on the VCDS Owners Map for someone local to you?

Find a local member, click on his user name and look at his profile to see when he was last on Briskoda (to make sure he is still an active member) then send him a PM (personal message)

Can someone explain what this feature actually does, also what other things aren't activated as standard but can be by VCDS

Thanks

Anti-hijack locks the doors when you go over (IIRC) 10mph.

Other things that can be enabled are selective unlocking (just the drivers door, or the whole car), alarm chirps etc.

Does anyone know the codes required to enable the alarm 'chirps' and to disable the selective unlocking..
