Sad, bad, yet glad, too!

Featured Replies

Over the past week I have seen three or four YETI driving around Brecon and the Beacons, which up until now I have claimed as my own territory.

However, over the past week, I have observed some interlopers, and today, in the depth of Aberdare in the Valleys, I spotted one parked up.

Mixed emotions followed. First sad that my exclusivity was being eroded, then glad that Skoda were finally penetrating the UK market. And whilst I like having an unusual car, I think it good that there are more about as there is strength in numbers.......

Or is there???

Just keep telling yourself............."I started the trend, no one else.......just ME :D"

Only seen a Yeti on three or maybe four occasions in and around Driffield and one of those was from Guernsey (long way from home). Most of my sightings (excluding the Yeti adventures) have been around Pickering including mines non identical twin (aqua blue SE 140 same reg bar last letter and registerd day after).

So old Pat is still very much on her own in these parts of the East Riding emoticon-0106-crying.gif

I was driving through the Beacons last Friday on my way to Pembrokeshire with Mrs Shrub. If you saw me passing through then your territory is still safe

Someone on this forum lives in the same area I do and they have their SM, but I have not seen it or them yet.

I hope we can introduce ourselves very soon, as I have a lot of Cornettos' to give away on Ditchling Beacon soon :D

Well George knows where I am!

Saw one on the way to East Mids Airport last Saturday, but none since, and Yeti's are obviously extinct in and around Nantes, because I saw none around there either.

Chap at Airparks at EMA said mine was the first they had seen.
